Journey Groups

Part of Evergreen’s mission is to create authentic community for people where they can be themselves without a fear of judgment. Our journey groups are places where people can come together in a group of 10-15 people and share their lives. These groups study the Bible together, enjoy meals together, and share the ups and downs of life.

You can choose a journey group based on meeting day or location. We encourage everyone to become a part of a journey group and share their journey of faith. You will meet those who can walk with you along the way, help you through the rough spots, and celebrate your triumphs.

Contact Neal Farrand at nealf@evergreench.org for more information about our current Journey Groups.

Covenant Groups

It is one thing to study the Bible and learn about the life that Jesus called us all to live. It is quite another to put that knowledge into practice and live it out. The purpose of a Covenant Group is to help you live out your faith with 2-3 other people of the same gender who are trying to do the same thing.

These groups meet each week to talk in total confidence about their struggles, their successes, and their questions of where to go next. In these times, you will be prayed for, encouraged, and challenged to move ahead from where you are to where God wants you to be.

In order to find a group that is right for you, we suggest that you first find a journey group where you can get to know others better. If you prefer just a covenant situation, then contact Matt Brown at 919.931.3800 or mattb@evergreench.org and he will help you find the right group.
